The Ben Sheppard Elementary After-school Care Program offers a variety of activities, including homework assistance, indoor and outdoor games, music, library, academic enrichment, arts and crafts, and computers. These have been planned for your child 's time in our program. The After-school care program is until 6:00pm .
Our staff consists of two program managers who are certified teachers, and who supervise the group activity leaders. All leaders have been screened by Miami-Dade County Public Schools and The Florida Department of Law Enforcement. All staff members receive a minimum of 30 hours of Department of Children and Families training.
A nutritious snack is provided for your child at the beginning of the after care program each day.
During the Summer break we offer a Summer-Day Camp Monday - Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
